Heather Heron´s new sustainable lifestyle collection

We first told you about Heather Heron´s line of eco-chic hemp couture bags here. She has now recently collaborated with furniture purveyor, Environment, who gave her the opportunity to showcase her talents in the realm of home design. The result is a “lifestyle collection” consisting of staple pieces such as a hemp and flax throw, a plush, hand-woven beach blanket, and a surfboard bag made of discarded luxury Japanese denim.

Another liveeco favourite is the Boro Weekender, a unisex tote made from vintage military fabrics and hardware from World War II. While it´s name – Boro – means ´tattered rags´ in Japanese, it´s far from being a piece you´ll carelessly cast aside. Casual, yet luxurious, it is a collectors item if we’ve ever seen one – a piece that pays homage to a bygone era while contributing to a sustainable future.
