John Hardy & Angela Lindvall announce their sustainable jewellery collaboration

Angela Lindvall is the new face of designer jeweller John Hardy and has become a muse and personal friend to the brand´s Creative Director, Guy Bebarida.  United by a shared passion for the environment,  together the two designed a new collection of recycled and sustainable silver jewellery called Hijau – which means “green” in Balinese – featuring rings, bangles, earrings and dramatic cuffs priced from $295 to $3,000.  It also includes a special charm bracelet made from woven organic cotton cord, priced at $95 with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Forest Ethics, an organization that protects endangered forests and wildlife.  (10% of sales from the rest of the Hijau collection will be donated.)  The launch of the Hijau collection emphasizes John Hardy´s mission to be “Greener Every Day.”

We´ve just received the brand new behind-the scenes video of Angela Lindvall for John Hardy´s fall ad campaign. The video features Lindvall on location in New York and at the company’s self-sustaining headquarters in Bali – in it, she speaks passionately about the environment and the importance of sustainability.

The above image is the very first image shot by Sebastian Kim (a favorite of Vogue, Interview, V Magazine, Numero, etc.) for the campaign.
