The Shoestring Collective Pops Up in Cape Town

The Shoestring Collective is a South African designer goods pop-up shop open now in the Gardens Centre in Cape Town.

The pop-up houses over 20 local designers and will be stocked and run by 16 local designers who have been carefully selected to showcase their work. Each designer has curated their own space within the shop. Designers include: 2Bop, a ring to it, Anomali, Bow Peep, Coppelia, Dark Horse, Famke, Good Clothing, Handmade by Me, Lost is a place too, Love Lolla, Maiden Name, Naturals Beauty, Oh Dear Megan, Selfi, Windowsill.

The organisers of the Shoestring Collective have also put together a curated selection of products from various other local designers. Featuring Sock co, Feral Goods, FH Porcelen, Hoi P’loy, Lindsey Boucher, Lula by Emma, Mads Nørgaard, Mocho Loco, Postcard Happiness, Pretty Pretty, a.scribe, SHNU, Soet Stationery, Spookasem, Tess Metcalf, The Quick Red Fox, TjouTjou, Vastland Bikes, Understudy, Wolf & Maiden, XICO and Tamarillo Ceramics.

I am hoping to get down to the Shoestring Collective pop-up later this week to check it out, so will Instagram some pics of my locally made trinkets!
