Amber Valetta to Showcase H&M’s New Spring 2014 Conscious Collections

We introduced you to supermodel Amber Valetta a few weeks ago with her new socially responsible collection, Master & Muse. The model and mother-of-one has now teamed up with Swedish retailer, H&M, to showcase their latest Conscious Collections.

The 39-year old says she is “honoured” to showcase the retailer’s offering of clothes made from sustainable fabrics.

“It’s wonderful to represent a company that matches my values and it’s exciting to be able to collaborate in that way,” says Valetta.

While the end result is still under wraps, Valetta will model two collections, Conscious and Conscious Exclusive, the latter of which has been conceived with the help of Elizabeth von Guttmann and Alexia Niedzielski, the founders of sustainable fashion and design think tank Ever Manifesto.

A sneak peek of the flamenco and bohemia-inspired collection reveals a white, lace dress layered with an off-white bib made of gems and crystals.

“I simply love the designs and the fact that all the pieces are made with organic, recycled and cellulose fabrics shows that you don’t need to compromise fashion for sustainability anymore,” says the model.

The collections launch on April 10, 2014.
