If your collection had a theme song, what would it be?

Happy Ft. D. Martin by C2C.

One thing we need to know about you as a designer?

I always strive for novelty and perfection.

I can’t start my day without…

Coffee!!!

You are currently obsessed with?

Pinterest….. and too many to mention, voilà!

Name one designer you would most like to meet?

Our very own local Jasper Eales.

My own style is…

Contemporary yet simple with a hint of earthiness and rawness to the elements.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

“You are the architect of your life”

Tell us a little more about your ’KITCHEN STORAGE’ collection. What inspired you?

My inspiration derived from the problems I tend to face at home and from a little insight from others it seems that I am not the only one. Example plastic bags, one tends to forget them most often at home before going grocery shopping and one is forced to buy new ones every time. A plastic bag collection therefore starts accumulating at home, which leads to more storage issues. The coffee capsules containers and fruit bowls take a lot of space on kitchen counters mainly in smaller spaces and I equally think that it is definitely more aesthetically inviting and practical to have them displayed as such. My Triglide collection is inspired to help simplify and solve some storing issues that most people face.

What challenges have you experienced by adhering to the competition principles of using sustainable design techniques?

It was challenging to ensure that my design was plausible and that my choice of materials were accessible.

What’s on your horizon?

A bright future, I hope 😉 A little travelling adventure and finding my niche within the interior design field.

What excites you?

The idea of a ‘tomorrow’.

How do your friends describe you?

My friends would describe me as caring, humble, fun and a reliable person with a witty sense of humour, that apparently no one gets!

What is your most treasured piece in your home?

My late grandfathers family emblem pendant.

Top tip when it comes to sustainable design?

There is no limitations to sustainable design. Think of it as a new economical, ecological lifestyle. Think out of the box!
